Robotics Exhibit: The Robots-'R Coming Through September
Coming from the Carnegie Science Center , this highly interactive exhibition allows you the chance to discover the fact behind science fiction while working with (and against) robotic technology. Motion detection, super-hearing, quick reflexes, aid to the disabled - this exhibit has it all, and your chance to meet science fiction stars. During opening weekend, you can meet Bob May, who starred as The Robot B-9 in Lost in Space. He also performed in such television shows as Red Skelton and McHale's Navy.

Exhibit: For the Love of Dogs
The Cornell Museum will fill the "dog days of summer" with a premiere exhibition, organized by the museum, that has plenty of personality as "man's best friend" is celebrated through art. The exhibit includes paintings, sculpture and photography from national, international, regional and local artists - complimented by "personality" portraits and children's dog art from the community. All local submissions are accompanied by stories or bios of the featured dogs. Some are hilarious, others will touch your heart.

Baby Boot Camp
Baby Boot Camp stroller-based fitness classes are designed specifically to help moms get fit. It takes the place of a personal trainer at a time in your life when you need one more than ever. Classes combine strength-training exercises with cardiovascular drills. Pilates, yoga and abdominal exercises help improve core strength; the stroller, resistance tubes (and even your child) are used as an integral part of the workout. Length is 55 or 75 minutes depending on class format. You will need a water bottle, mat or towel; your child will need a stroller, snacks, toys, sun block, diapers, hat and blanket.

Sailing Adventure Cruise

RC2 Corp. Recalls Various Thomas & Friends(tm) Wooden Railway Toys Due to Lead Poisoning Hazard
WASHINGTON , D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.
Name of Products: Various Thomas & Friends(tm) Wooden Railway Toys
Units: About 1.5 million
Importer/Distributor: RC2 Corp., of Oak Brook , Ill.
Hazard: Surface paints on the recalled products contain lead. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health effects.
Incidents/Injuries: None.
Description: The recall involves wooden vehicles, buildings and other train set components for young children listed in the chart below. The front of the packaging has the logo "Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway" on the upper left-hand corner. A manufacturing code may be located on the bottom of the product or inside the battery cover. Toys marked with codes containing "WJ" or "AZ" are not included in this recall.
