Why Should Kids Have All the Fun?
Did you know you can find treasure at your favorite Palm Beach County Library this summer? By joining our first-ever Adult Summer Reading Club, you can discover “treasures” galore in the library stacks.
To participate in the club, pick up your Find Treasure @ Your Library packet at your local branch. In the packet, you will find instructions on how to get started, a bookmark, a reading log, and book review forms.
Read as many books, or listen to as many audiobooks, as you like for the duration of the program; but we ask that you read 10 books and record each title in your reading log. After reading 10 books you will get a commemorative tote bag ( limited one per person; while supplies last ).
You may read any type of adult book (regular or large print) or audiobook (cassette or CD).
By filling out and returning a Book Review Form for each title you will become eligible for drawings for prizes throughout the summer.
Just like the Children's Summer Reading Program, the Adult Summer Reading Club is a way to foster a love of reading and to discover treasure at your library.

| Exhibit: Tigers of Wrath - Watercolors by Walton Ford |
 Organized by the Brooklyn Museum , this exhibition presents approximately 50 of the artist's large-scale works on paper, most completed after 2000. These images of birds and animals are meticulously executed in a style resembling John James Audubon's Birds of America, but one that also contains veins of political and social discourse. By using the non-human world as a mirror, Ford employs his skill as an artist and observer of people to communicate his subjective commentary on contemporary society. The exhibit is made possible in part through the generosity of the R.H. Norton Trust and the State of Florida , Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs, the Florida Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Join the party in Centennial Square for this weekly fountainside concert series. Featuring some of the area's best in rock, R&B, reggae, blues, soul and swing music, Clematis by Night is the place to be for great music, a feast of ethnic foods and sidewalk shopping at the colorful international bazaar. Beginning in July, "Rev Up Clematis by Night" takes place on the second Thursday of each month offering extra power and continuing the fun past Centennial Square all the way to the 500 block of Clematis Street with custom cars, live entertainment, music and vendors on every block.
